Oslo, 11 May, 2026 – Veyt has been recognised by Energy Risk as Climate Risk Advisory Firm of the Year. The Energy Risk award for leadership in climate risk management, advisory, data, and analytics was announced on 8 May.
The recognition reflects Veyt’s work in helping participants in policy-driven environmental markets to interpret prices and convert them into clear insights that improve trading, hedging, and investment decisions. By combining the latest policy intelligence, market data, and modelling into an intelligence platform, Veyt —also awarded ‘Climate Risk Research House of the Year’ in 2024 and 2025 — provides a clear view of the factors driving global energy and carbon markets.
Veyt’s approach links carbon, power, and renewable energy markets into a single analytical framework, allowing clients to assess how policy changes, technology adoption, and market behaviour interact. This includes nascent systems such as EU ETS2, where limited historical data requires innovative modelling approaches and novice data-handling for sectors like transport and buildings.
Alongside carbon market analytics, Veyt is expanding its work in power markets to include power purchase agreement (PPA) and asset valuation modelling, where contract structures and asset-specific market dynamics create pricing complexity. The company has recently completed projects for leading wind and solar producers.
Marcus Ferdinand, Chief Analytics Officer at Veyt, says, “We are very proud to receive this award. It reflects the standard the team has set over time. We know our clients are not only looking for additional data and information — they are looking for the narrative behind the data. We provide clarity by applying our model-based analytical toolkit to separate the tradeable and risk-reducing forecast from the noise. That is where we focus.”
