I am a renewable energy policy analyst at Veyt, where I analyse the latest regulatory developments to see how they impact on the Guarantees of Origin (GO) market. My background in climate diplomacy means I am familiar with legal terminology and have a keen eye for detail. As such I understand the difference between stated and implied objectives.

Through a network of policy and diplomatic contacts, brokers, traders and speaking with other sources, the team and I take stock and sense check the data underlying our models. Keeping my ear close to the ground means that I often know what policy changes are coming up and, if these are likely to occur, they are added to the models.

My objective is to increase transparency and clarity in the GO market for our clients. I bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative analysis, turning regulatory changes into numbers so that we can build robust models.

With my overview of legislative processes,I’m responsible for developing new products that will help our clients navigate the legislative landscape and obtain an overview of the state of renewable energy in Europe.

I previously worked in climate diplomacy for the European Union (EU) Delegation to Russia, forging new cooperation pathways, focusing on the many international aspects of the European Green Deal, such as (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) CBAM, and on a more international level, COP26.

Since my childhood I’ve been a passionate advocate for the environment, from obsessively picking up plastic as a child to signing petitions. Later, I pursued undergraduate studies in physical geography, focusing on climate change, at King’s College London.

I subsequently attained a double master’s in energy management from Nord University in the Arctic Circle, with a thesis on decarbonisation strategies for oil and gas companies.

I live in Oslo and speak English, French, German, Norwegian and Russian. In my spare time, I love to explore antique markets.
