Leading Veyt’s carbon market division, I oversee the analysis of global emissions trading systems, including the EU ETS, US regional markets and Chinese ETSs. Our scope encompasses providing data, analytics and insights into both voluntary and Paris Agreement-linked carbon credit markets while also monitoring the growth of carbon markets in emerging economies.

With over 15 years in carbon market analysis, my passion for this dynamic sector drives my work at Veyt, where I develop products to help clients understand these complex market dynamics. I firmly believe in emission trading systems as vital tools for governments to achieve climate objectives and tackle the climate crisis.

Carbon markets are unique due to their political roots, influenced by governmental and corporate climate ambitions. My expertise blends political science with practical experience in energy markets, having held analytical and leadership positions at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, Point Carbon, Refinitiv, and the London Stock Exchange Group. At Veyt, my focus is on harnessing our team’s diverse skills to offer insights and forecasts, equipping decision-makers with the knowledge to impact these markets effectively and make strategic choices towards achieving net zero.
