I am a Lead Quantitative Analyst at Veyt, specialising in EU Carbon. My work primarily focuses on fundamental and price modelling tasks in the EU Carbon space. My objective at Veyt is to build a comprehensive, flexible, and robust common modelling framework for the exciting modelling work we will undertake in the upcoming years.
I started working in the industry nearly 20 years ago because it offered interesting and fun challenges where my skills in data analysis and numerical modelling would be useful. Working with emissions markets is very rewarding, as it contributes to solving one of the major challenges facing humanity. My career began in 2005 as a market analyst, where I gradually shifted towards more modelling work. I then moved on to other companies where I focused on power market modelling and fundamental analysis for wind and solar power production.
One of the important elements that our clients expect from us is to provide clarity on the future developments of the various emissions markets we cover.
After a transitional period for carbon markets, particularly the EU ETS, these markets have matured to a point where my modelling skills are increasingly useful.
Specialising in data, analysis, and insights for all significant low-carbon markets and renewable energy.
