ENTSOG Biomethane Injection Report: key figures and EBA comparison

On 26 February 2026, the European Network of transmission system operators for gas (ENTSOG) delivered its 2026 annual report on biomethane injections into gas networks. Biomethane injections have seen a 12% increase in the past two years, jumping from 38.1 TWh to 43.2 TWh (approximately 4.3 bcm).
