The total capacity available for tender was 61 MW, with a total of 38 MW (62%) being awarded, comprised of six winning bids. The lowest bid price was ct 22.99/kWh(el), and the highest bid price was ct 23.12/kWh, just below the maximum rate of ct 23.13/kWh.
All submitted bids were successful. The increase in interest was associated with the improved compensation for biomethane generation as part of the “Biomassepaket” (approved by the EC in October 2025) and the uplift in the maximum rate.
