The Institut Luxembourgeois de Regulation (ILR) held an auction for 2022 Q2 production from 26 to 29 July 2022.

As usual, all volumes offered were fully sold. The total auction volume decreased by 20% from 174.831 GWh for Q1 2022 to 139.93 GWh for Q2 2022.
The volume of Solar GOs almost tripled compared to the previous auction. Despite of increasing volume, Solar GOs for 2022Q2 production sold for 302 Eurocents/MWh, which significantly increased compared to the previous auction (226 Eurocents/MWh), and it is higher than the corresponding OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 July (252 Eurocents/MWh).
Biomass GOs’ allocated volume remained around 70 GWh (though decreasing a bit), with an increasing VMAP of 246 Eurocents/MWh (172 Eurocents/MWh for 2022Q1). This price is higher than the corresponding average OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 July (220 Eurocents/MWh).
Wind GOs’ allocated volume (62.71GWh) was down by 38.1% compared to the last quarter (101.3GWh for 2022Q1), with the volume-weighted average price (VMAP) rising to 245 Eurocents/MWh (from 168 Eurocents/MWh for 2022Q1). This price is lower than the corresponding average OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 July, which trended around 252 Eurocents/MWh.
