Compared to the previous auction, the total auctioned volumes went slightly down to similar levels witnessed in the previous auction. GO prices for all technologies increased compared to the previous auction, by more than 140%. The prices increased considerably, by more than 180% for Hydro GOs from the previous auction. Solar GOs, whose prices saw the lowest increase (around 140%, still) from the previous auction, were still traded at the highest price among all technologies (ranked second after Hydro). Generally, all technologies have VWAP above 5 Euros/MWh, even Biomass.
Except for Wind GOs (as for the last auction), prices of all other auctioned GOs were sold at a premium of 5 (Solar) to 24 Eurocents (Hydro) compared to the prices seen in the OTC market; and the historical price trend was broadly mirroring the price movement seen in the OTC markets.

The GSE recently announced the outcome of the auction session on 20th October 2022 for the assignment of Guarantees of Origin (GOs). In total, 5.43 TWh of GOs related to production from January to July 2022 were auctioned (-5.1% compared to the previous auction), corresponding to the electricity produced by the RES power plants that benefit from the “dedicated withdrawal” by GSE and are granted feed-in tariffs. The auction revenues are used to reduce the cost sustained by electricity consumers to promote renewable energy.
