Today the European Commission will put forward the long awaited 2040 target proposal. Following the College of Commissioners at 10:30 CET, the Commissioners Ribera and Hoekstra will present the target in a press conference that can be followed at this link. We expect the presentation to begin around midday, along with the publishing of the proposal’s legislative text and supporting documents.
