The Canadian government has implemented a series of comprehensive environmental policies geared towards accelerating the country’s net-zero goals. The 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan, coupled with new climate initiatives in California, will lead to both a strengthening and greater reliance on Quebec’s cap-and-trade program to help decarbonize the country.
