Spain revises NECP with extra emphasis on renewable gases

The Spanish environmental agency MITECO released their draft national energy climate plan for 2023-2030 on 28 June 2023. The draft includes increases in ambition for renewable gases green hydrogen and biomethane. The draft, also submitted to the EC will undergo public consultation domestically until 4 September 2023, in preparation for final submission to the EC in June 2024.
