Macquarie launches VORN Bioenergy and their venture into the Italian biomethane sector

At the end of February, Macquarie Asset Management launched VORN Bioenergy, essentially a rebranding of the biomethane platform of the Green Investment Group. The announcements marked one-hundred days since the group’s acquisition of the German BayWa r.e. Bioenergy. The group’s current asset strategy revolves around plants in established markets in Germany and Italy.
