FuelEU Maritime Update March 2023 – Latest political agreement

The FuelEU Maritime proposal, introduced by the European Commission, has undergone amendments and a decision-making process since 2021. After the report by the committee was adopted in October 2022, the negotiations have begun and last week provisional political agreement was reached between the European Parliament and the Council.
