The Norwegian energy giant announced the deal on 11 March 2026, where they will supply the low-carbon fuel over a two-year period to the RoRo market leader. Fuel bunkering will be conducted at Belgium ports Zeebrugge and Antwerp, with first deliveries expected to start late 2026. Such deals are not new to Equinor, who have previously signed deals with other marine operators including Maersk and NCL.
