European Parliament gives final approval of ETS reform

Only Council adoption remains before the “Fit for 55” revision of the ETS Directive can pass into law. Similar to today’s vote in the European Parliament, Council adoption is expected to be a mere rubberstamping exercise. The vote had no impact on EUA prices, as the result was expected and already priced in.
