Oil majors secure 7 GW of German offshore wind amid aggressive bidding

Oil majors TotalEnergies and bp bid a total of EUR 12.6 billion to secure the rights to build offshore wind projects totaling 7 GW in German waters confirming expectations of continued growth in the sector.
