HUPX launched the first auction of 656GWh GOs

HUPX (Hungarian Power Exchange Ltd.) (https://hupx.hu/en/go-market/market-results), the appointed operator for Hungarian GoOs market by MEKH (Hungarian Energy & Utilities Regulatory Agency), held its 1st auction for Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) on 14th June 2022, for 2022 Q1 produced GoOs. MEKH issues GoOs automatically for production with fixed-rate support KÁT to the Account of the Hungarian TSO MAVIR from 2022. These GoOs will be sold by MAVIR through an auction on the organized electricity market, and the auction income is used for covering the costs of the KÁT scheme.
