Hungary at the helm of the Council presidency

From July 1 to December 31, 2024, Hungary will hold the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, succeeding Belgium, and will lead the Council’s work for six months. Hungary has now unveiled its working programme, part of which comprises promoting the deployment of geothermal energy.
