Serbian solar GOs supply to ramp up from 2028

Supply of Serbian solar GOs is likely to increase from 2028 as state-owned utility EPS is planning to launch 1 GW unsubsidised solar project.

Construction of the project which would also include battery storage is expected to start in 2024 and once operational should produce 1.2 TWh annually. To put it into context, Serbia issued 3.6 TWh of GOs in 2022 and cancelled 1.64 TWh, according to the latest AIB statistics.
