Polish GOs Market Witnesses Price Declines in December 2023

On December 8, 2023, the latest indicative prices confirm a substantial decrease in Polish GO prices, aligning with our earlier predictions from the preceding month. The current-year GOs experienced the most substantial decrease, witnessing a 19% drop in their value, while the 2024 vintage GOs saw a 10% reduction. Consequently, this resulted in a narrowing of the premium between the Polish 2023 GOs and the EECS GO average to 0.41 Euro/MWh. It is noteworthy that forward vintages from 2024 to 2026 in production are trading at a comparatively smaller premium, reaching up to 0.11 Euro/MWh when compared to their AIB counterparts.
