Polish GO market update: Price gap with AIB hits new high

As of 22 July 2025, indicative bid-ask prices for Polish Wind and Solar Guarantees of Origin (GOs) show a continued downward trend from the previous month, though the pace of decline eased.

Future vintages fell by around 3 % to 6 % month-on-month, while near-term vintages remained largely stable. Prices across all vintages are now trading at a deepening discount to AIB-issued EU GOs, which have risen over the same period – a trend that has been accelerating since January 2025.

The current price spread between Polish and AIB GOs is at its widest so far this year, highlighting a growing fragmentation in the European GO market.
