Recent dialogue among domestic biogas players and REGATRACE on the establishment of a gas Guarantees of Origin (GOs) system and a national registry, led by Biogass Norge, highlighted concern over the lack of a GO system, which could lead to Norwegian biogas and biomethane players missing out opportunities on the European green gas markets.
