Low-carbon hydrogen manufacturers want to be included in EU’s future hydrogen auctions, according to a recently leaked letter to the European Commission and Members of the European Parliament by France Hydrogene, NuclearEurope as well as producers and consumers of hydrogen in France, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. Preparatory notes for the Parliament hearing of the Commissioner-designate for Climate Action, Wopke Hoekstra, reveal that the next Commission is “ready to consider” the possibility.
