Jun-23 Spanish Domestic GO Market Quotes: Igniting with demand for forward contracts

In June, the trading volume of Spanish domestic Guarantees of Origin (GOs) decreased by 43% due to the phase-out of subsidies and a preference for exporting GOs. Despite the decline, domestic demand remained robust, driving price increases. The trading volume was concentrated in Weeks 22 and 23 with the lowest prices recorded. Demand for 2024 contracts remained strong, and forward contracts for 2025-2027 showed a rising trajectory.
