CP22 REGOs Price Crash Following NFPA’s Late Private Auctions

For many years, ePower has been conducting regular Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) and Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) auctions in the UK. However, the latest auction held on June 19, 2024 caused a significant crash in the market due to unexpectedly low demand. CP22 REGO prices plummeted from £14.30/MWh on June 17 to trade as low as £3.75/MWh on June 20.
