Yesterday, the European Commission held a press conference announcing a set of temporary and exceptional measures to tackle the energy crisis, this time focusing on natural gas prices, covering joint gas purchasing, price limiting mechanisms on the TTF gas exchange, measures on transparent infrastructure use and solidarity between EU MS as well as continuous efforts to bring gas demand down. The proposal comes two weeks after the Emergency Measures were announced.
