A rising number of countries have introduced compliance carbon markets as part of their emission policy platforms. More than 30 such programs are in force globally, covering more than 25% of global greenhouse-gas emissions according to various sources.
Australia is one of the five largest carbon compliance markets in the world – sitting alongside the EU ETS, China, California, and South Korea – with annual traded value of over A$1.4 billion in 2025 – a growth of over 3.5x over just three years.
Amid increasing interest from international market participants, Veyt will integrate RepuTex’s Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) price assessments for key traded methodologies into its platform, offering international participants greater access to daily pricing insights on the Australian carbon market, including prices for the full stack of nature-based and industrial sequestration and avoidance methodologies.
RepuTex market data is also used by the Australian Government to set the standard price for prescribed carbon units under its Safeguard Mechanism compliance scheme.
In 2023–24, RepuTex became the first Australian price reporting agency to comply with the International Organization of Securities Commission’s (IOSCO) PRA Principles, governing global securities and commodity benchmarks.
RepuTex’s Australian carbon price information is now accessible via the Veyt platform.
“I regard Veyt as the leading market intelligence provider across carbon and renewable energy markets, certainly for the European ETS. We are very pleased to partner with Veyt to offer RepuTex’s ACCU price data to Veyt’s broad base of global customers. With Australia being one of the most promising and mature carbon markets globally, Veyt is a logical partner for us to support growing global interest from funds, traders, end-users and investors in the Australian market.” Pieter Vandevelde, Head of Sales and Development, RepuTex Energy
“We are very excited about this partnership, which aligns perfectly with Veyt’s philosophy of giving our customers access to the highest-quality data. By partnering with RepuTex—the leading provider of ACCU data—we are combining our strengths to deliver broader and more holistic access to global carbon market intelligence.
