Update to the long-term industry emissions forecast
Last week, Veyt updated its long-term industry emissions forecast. Factoring in a slower uptake of abatement technologies, we have increased our trajectory for ETS-covered industrial emissions from 508 to 515 MtCO₂ in 2030 and from 319 to 334 MtCO₂ in 2035 since the last update in October. In percentage terms, this represents a 1% and 5% increase, respectively.
