The Institut Luxembourgeois de Regulation (ILR) held an auction for 2022 Q3 production from 26 to 29 October 2022.

As usual, all volumes offered were fully sold. The total auction volume decreased by 10.3% from 139.93 GWh for Q2 2022 to 125.524 GWh for Q3 2022.
Wind GOs’ allocated volume (44.67GWh) was down by 29% compared to the last quarter (62.71GWh for 2022-Q2), with a VWAP skyrocketing to 590 Eurocents/MWh (from 245 Eurocents/MWh for 2022-Q2). This price is lower than the corresponding average OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 October, which trended around 583 Eurocents/MWh.
The volume of Solar GOs slightly decreased (-6%) compared to the previous auction. Solar GOs for 2022-Q3 production were sold at 593 Eurocents/MWh on average, which significantly increased compared to the previous auction (302 Eurocents/MWh), thus almost doubling (+96%). It is also higher than the corresponding OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 October (around 588 Eurocents/MWh on average).
Biomass GOs’ allocated volume remained around 70 GWh (though increasing a bit), with a more than doubling VWAP of 581 Eurocents/MWh (246 Eurocents/MWh for 2022-Q2). This price is higher than the corresponding average OTC prices for 2022 production from 26 to 29 October (556 Eurocents/MWh on average).
