The German Ministry for the Environment has published a draft for a revision of the Ordinance 36 of the implementation of the Federal Emission Control Act (36. BImSchV). The ordinance is relevant to the GHG quota in the German transport sector. The GHG quota was seen as a driver for biomethane investments until dramatically declining prices in the last year changed the market dynamics, exacerbated by recent fraudulent behaviour.
