Fields of possibility in green mobility – tracking renewables in EU transport

As of 23 August 2024, ten Member states have submitted National Energy Climate Plans (NECPs) revised for 2024. Of importance will be mainstreaming renewable energy in the transport sector, which has lagged behind other sectors in achieving emissions reductions. We take a closer look at the EU picture for renewables in mobility and key indicators in RES-T share and GHG emission intensity reduction.
