European Parliament tilts right, no immediate threat to the Green Deal

The far-right celebrates victory in the European elections but is still far from forming one united political block. We see the continuation of the grand central alliance between EPP, S&D, and Renew as the most likely outcome. For climate and energy policy, we expect great reluctance to move forward, but equally little appetite for revisiting policy files that are already closed.
