Changes to Renewable Act to boost biomethane in Poland

A bill has been put forward to amend the Polish Renewable Energy Sources Act which will boost biogas and biomethane production and uptake. The bill was sent to the lower house (Sejm) on 8 May 2023, with the Energy and Climate Commission, as well as Agriculture Commission, expected to adopt their position later in July, with the eventual law expected to be in force around August 2023.
