Prices in China’s national ETS ranged between CNY 70-106/t (EUR 9.2-13.9/t) over the year 2024, averaging CNY 91.80/t (EUR 12/t) or 44% higher than the 2023 average – see Figure 1. CEA prices kicked off the year at CNY 76….
