On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, NVE published their data on the hydrological balance (the week’s difference of the sum of energy content in reservoirs, snow, groundwater and soil from the last 20 years average) in Norway. The data reveals a worsening hydrological balance which in week 6 reached 21.6 TWh below normal, approaching the historical minimum recorded in 2010 week 6 of –23.2 TWh.
